Describing Things

Smart Spoon
How you ever heard of smart spoon?
I think it is a new high-tech toy for nowadays moms. Smart Spoon is a electronic device like many other electronic gadgets such as ipod, laptop, personal digital assistants (PDAs), 3G phones etc. But unlike other electronic gadgets, Smart Spoon is most likely will be needed in kitchen. As a caring son, I used to help my mom in her cooking starting from preparing the ingredients till tasting the food. while i'm studying here, she would be missing my company, I think a Smart Spoon would help her in the kitchen. This device in future could be seen in many kicthen as what the presence of fork & spoon does. Smart Spoon can check the level of acidity, salinity, pH level etc. The major component of Smart Spoon are the sensors on the spoon. The minor components are the computer circuit, processors, and battery. It is easy to use and handy, can be used anywhere in the kitchen. It may sounds futuristics but it is a practical approach for modern houses.

Speech of Introduction: Introducing Myself

As i was looking for an inspirational person to give a speech about, I realised that why don't I be an inspirational figure for myself. Rather than finding for an ideal person, why don't I be my own ideal person? This is the key reason I chose to introduce myself to class. After prepared my slides, I gave my speech on one fine day in the class. I have managed to grab the attention of my friends. It was satisfying.

Now let's come to the part of my personal stand in my speech. Actually I've put many stands in the slides. But I'll choose the main three of them. My first personal stand was 'I AM: Dynamic'. I relate myself with the word dynamic in the sense that I could able to move around in my work & play, and the characteristic of uniqueness in each aspect of my life. Now, about my second stand, it is ' I AM: Empathetic person'. Mostly, empathetic is related with sympathetic. I always try to be kind with my elderly people, friends and strangers. But if others don't show the mutual respect then I would consider to be in good terms wit them. Eventually, these personal features leads me to a helpful person. My third stand is 'I AM: Joful person'. Life is short, why don't we cherish every moment we have on this wonderful piece of planet? Being good will always content our heart with happiness. God's blessings will always be on us, if we follow on the path of truth. In my conclusion, I've told about my dreams and the love of my family, and also about my personal details.

Who is the best presenter? Who is the worst presenter? Why?

"Who is the best presenter?

Who is the worst presenter?

Why?"

These three questions have been posed to us, whereby we have to comment about the presenters we watched earlier in our blogs. In my opinion, a presenter is a person who can express his/her ideas or subject in a entertaining and simpler way. When I watched the presentations from individuals like TJ Walker, Microsoft Guy, Dougles Jefferys, Dick Hardt, etc leaves an inspiration on each of their speech. A sense of satisfication or dismay can be felt respective presentation. Now let's come to our topic, I will chose TJ Walker as the best presenters. It does not meens that others are not good presenters,it is just that he is on the top of the list. He did not used any slides like some other presenters. Body language, simple sentence, and effective style of gestures are his plus-points.

Besides him, I was really impressed by the speech given in 'the last lecture'. The presenter's slides were simple, very less words, effective, and simple with pictures. He also had good attention getter, probably he had the best among the rest. The topic he chose was able to touch the heart of audience. In fact, it was an effectiv speech.

Now, it is time to consider the worst among them. Sorry to say,Microsoft guy was the one in that list. He never looked at the audiece, which looks like he never respects them. As a viewer of his video clips, I think we can just click to other presenter after just looking at his introduction.
